FIRST FRC robotics, Miracle Workerz team #365

I was a highly active member of the Miracle Workers throughout high school. Each year our 38-student team that worked with real-world engineers to build a competitive, 120-pound robot in 6 weeks. My roles included designing, constructing, and testing various robot attachments; leading the welding team of 5 and overseeing all aspects of the welding process; repairing the robot after every round of competition; organizing fundraisers and outreach events; and writing a business plan. Fall 2012-Spring 2014.

Delaware Cobras travel softball

I’ve played highly competitive softball for 5 years, playing about 6 tournaments each summer and practicing year-round. My team took home numerous first-place trophies over the years, and I was grateful to receive a total of 3 MVP awards.

FLL Robotics Coach, team #10466 and #15545

I coached a SWE (Society of Women Engineers) sponsored FLL team. The team earned the Champion’s Award at the state level and advanced to the FLL World International Open, in Florida, May 2012, and earned 8 perfect scores at this world competition. The following year the team won first place at their Delaware qualifier.

Website design

I have designed, built, and continue to upkeep several WordPress-based websites. I edit code and create images to make the website have the overall look and feel I’m looking for. I’ve been mentored by several awesome ladies which is a really cool experience. If you’d like to see some of my work, check them out here.

Building a Lotus 7

My sister, dad, and I are building a Lotus 7 kit car. We’ve welded the frame and are currently in the process of painting it. We’re making a lot of custom modifications, which is a lot of fun.
