Awarded through Society of Women Engineers, this recognition honors women engineering students who demonstrate exceptional extracurricular leadership roles, involvement in engineering professional organizations, discipline-related internships, and presentation skills.

WPI Charles O. Thompson Award, 2014-15

Recognizes outstanding performance and academic success by first-year WPI students. (This award is more prestigious than even the Dean’s List.)

Elks Most Valuable Scholar Award

This national scholarship award honors high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and leadership ability, with an emphasis on community service.

SanDisk Scholar

SanDisk awards scholarships of $10,000 to outstanding students majoring in STEM fields who demonstrate exceptional community involvement, leadership, entrepreneurial interests, and academic achievements.

These awards recognize young people who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit & initiative.

2014 Governor’s Outstanding Youth Volunteer Service Award

FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition Dean’s List

Awarded to only 2 in every 1,000 FRC students, this distinction recognizes technical expertise and passion, leadership and motivation skills, entrepreneurship, creativity, and community outreach.

NCWIT (National Center for Women & Information Technology) National Community Competition Aspirations Award Runner-up

This nationally-recognized award honors high school girls for their computing-related achievements and interests, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for future education.

Nomination for AWE (Alliance for Women Entrepreneurs) 2013 Building Bridges Fellow Program

Tracey Welson-Rossman, the founder of TechGirlz, offered this nomination for this fellowship that supports female entrepreneurs, in recognition of exceptional entrepreneurial efforts.

Travel Softball MVP (Most Valuable Player)

This peer-nominated honor was in recognition of athletic abilities as lead third baseman and clean-up hitter for the Delaware Cobras travel softball team.

Excellent Ranking, Original Oratory, ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International)

ACSI oratory competitions encourage effective public speaking and communication skills. This award was given for excellence in delivery of an original speech on cosmology.
